Services
On this page you will find a list of the services I offer and how much they cost. You also have the ability to pay for the services using PayPal. Once you make a payment a receipt will be sent to the e-mail address you provide.
For most of my services I use a remote-desktop software. This software is provided by LogMeIn.com and is a secure software package. Once you request service and we set up a time, I will send an e-mail to you with a link that will allow you to download and install this software package. The software always lets you know when I am connected, which is the main reason I choose this package for my customers.
There are occasions that I must do an on-site visit, for which there will be an extra charge of $20.** I will travel within 25 miles of Elkton, VA under the $20 onsite charge. If you live outside the 25 mile area but within 50 miles we can discuss the cost of my visit.
**Rockingham County Public School Employees do not have to pay the extra $20 onsite charge if within 25 miles of Elkton, VA.

Virus/Malware Removal
This service can be done using remote-desktop software as long as you have Internet access. If you do not have Internet access then I will either need to do a on-site visit or you would need to bring your computer to me.
I use my own virus/malware software for this service. This means I must remove your existing software from your computer. If you decide you would like to have a year's subscription of virus/malware protection with the software I use, then you can purchase a 1-year subscription.
NOTE: This service risks the possibility of data loss. You should back up all data before I take your computer for service. I can back up the data for you at an extra charge (see below).

Hardware/PC Diagnostics
If you find you are having issues with your computer starting up, the video from coming on, the sound, or any other hardware-related issues, then this is the service you need. This service is also if you are having issues when running software on your computer.
If for some reason you cannot get the computer to turn on then I will need to do an on-site visit or you will need to bring your computer to me.

Software/Hardware/Printer Install
With this service I can install software, hardware, and/or a printer to your computer. I can do both the software install and printer install using the remote-desktop software. The hardware install must be done either on-site or you will need to bring the computer and part to me.

PC Streamline
Have you ever noticed your computer is running slower than it did when you first purchased it? This is caused by everyday use. When you surf the Internet, run utilties, play games, etc., your computer starts to get lots of "garbage" stored on its hard drive. This service helps you with this issue. I can streamline your computer by removing all that "garbage" from the computer.

LogMeIn Remote Desktop Access
Have you ever wanted to connect to your computer from work or from outside your home? Did you ever go on a trip with your laptop/iPad and forget to bring some files or photos that you wanted to show others? Well now you can use the same remote-desktop software I use to remotely connect to your home computer using your laptop, iPad, or work computer.
There are two prices for this software. $10: Installation of a free account. This allows you to just see your desktop items and I'll give you a quick run-down of how it works. $30: Installation of the premium version for 1 year. The premium version allows you to transfer files to and from the computer, listen to audio, and much more.
